Dear Friends and Fellow Pagani,
I hereby, am issuing a call and a challenge to my fellow Pagan netizens…
In June the sun is at it’s height in the Northern Hemisphere and nearly hidden from view in the Southern Hemisphere. Midsummer and Yule, festivals of fire and of light. We Pagans will be dancing around bonfires celebrating all the greatest joys of life; or we will be lighting candles and hearth fires against the dark and cold of Winter celebrating our beloved living and those things most important to us in our lives.
In honor of these Holy Days let’s use our hearts and minds and words. Let us stare into and invoke the fires of inspiration. Let us drink deeply from the well of wisdom. Let us write of the virtues and ethics and morals and values we have found in our Pagan paths. Let us share how we carry these precious things forward in our own lives, how we share them with our fellow Pagans, how we live them in our Summer days and Winter nights and carry them with us out into the world.
Join me, in the month of June 2010 in writing and speaking about Pagan values!
Peace and Blessings,
Last years event was enough of a success that I have decided to try holding it again and to expand it to be more inclusive of the podkin. The formal Call will go out on or near May 1st 2010, with detailed instructions on how to join this blog/pod carnival either by leaving a comment or by delicious tagging your contribution!
Feel free to check out the 2009 event archive for inspiration or your own enjoyment!
(Sad note: some of the participating blogs have suffered blog-fade or have disappeared entirely! They remain listed in the fond hopes that these contributors will find a way to reconnect with the Pagan Values blog and to share their work with the Pagan community once more!)
